Hey friends! š
Winter can feel long ā shorter days, colder temps, and a little extra cabin fever. But hereās the good news: West Knoxville has plenty of ways to stay connected, active, and feeling good this season. If youāre in Farragut, Bearden, Karns, or Hardin Valley, these local spots and events are some of my favorite ways to beat the winter blues. āļøā”ļøāØ
š³ Fresh Air = Instant Mood Boost
Even a short walk outside can do wonders this time of year. Ask me about the hot girl walking club, booā¬ ļøš
A few local favorites:
Founderās Park at Campbell Station (Farragut)Ā ā Perfect for a midday reset or evening stroll š¶āāļø
Anchor Park Ā ā Great access to the greenway and wide open space šæ
Mayor Bob Leonard Park Ā ā Trails, fields, and room to breathe šļø
McFee Park Ā ā A classic neighborhood park for quick walks and fresh air
Concord ParkĀ ā Lakeside paths and winter sunsets never disappoint š
Bundle up, grab a coffee (text me when you do), and get those endorphins going.
š Community Events = Connection
Winter doesnāt mean things slow down ā especially around Farragut.
From Galentineās events šĀ and family activities to glow-the-dark dance parties, craft nights, and seasonal gatherings, Farragut Parks & RecĀ keeps the calendar full of reasons to get out and see familiar (and new!) faces.

Sometimes the best cure for winter blues is simply being around people.
š Cozy, Indoor Pick-Me-Ups
Not every winter day calls for the outdoors ā and thatās okay.
A few indoor ideas:
Museum days or casual date nights
Community centers hosting classes and events
Dance, fitness, or movement classes to shake off the cold š
Coffee shops or libraries for a change of scenery āš
Movement + connection + routine = a winning winter combo.
š A Little Reminder
Winter is easier when you stay connectedĀ ā to your neighbors, your community, and the places that make West Knoxville feel like home. Whether itās a park walk, a local event, or just getting out of the house for an hour, it all adds up.
If you ever want ideas on where to go, whatās happening locally, or how to feel more plugged into this part of town ā Iām always happy to share. š¬
Stay warm,Hilary
